Falling Copper prices to benefit ACL.KCAB and SIRA...?

World Copper price have started to tumble on global weakness,Copper which reached a record $ 10,190 in FEB this year sank to $ 6800 on Sept 26 according Bloomberg and the London Metal Exchange and is expected to tumble further to around $6500 according to many analysts.
I believe that the above trend would impact favorably to the main copper wire manufacturers in the medium to long term as Copper and aluminium are two two main components or cables.

ACL is currently trading around 76/= as against a 52 Week high of Rs 107 .
Profits too have increased(June 2011 85.9mil. against June 2010 37.21mil.) indicating a positive trend.

KCAB is trading around 91 levels as against a 52 Week high of Rs139.
Quarterly profits too have increased dramatically (June2011 48.78mil against June 2010 5.67mil)
A director has purchased around 40,000 shares recently around 91 levels according to a CSE filing.

SIRA trading around 4.6 as against a 52 week high of Rs.6.4
Quarterly profits too have increased from 15.32mil in June 2011 to Rs 48.87mil in June 2011 and is bound to increase profits from it construction subsidiary and the planned PVC pipes and fittings factory.
Also the low absolute price would make it attractive to speculative play.

Please dont make any commitments based on the above details alone as they are sketchy(but with good intentions) and obviously a detailed and thorough analysis is needed before one ventures any further.

Normally once price is increased, it will not decrease even there is a significant decrease in raw material prices. That is the behavior in sri Lanka. So the Manufacturing companies will take the full advantage of it.

But if they hedging the price they will not much affect price fluctuation. I am not sure their buying strategy of raw material. pls if anyone know abt this give your ideas..

All three cable manufacturing companies listed in CSE have performed exceptionally in this period. Both ACL and KCAB looks very attractive.
