Obviously voting shares has voting rights and non-voting doesn't. Companies/people interested in taking over a firm or wanting to be part of the board will need to obtain voting shares to do so.

What benefit does non-voting shares have over the voting shares? To put it in another way, when or why should some one buy non-voting shares?

voting and non voting carries almost same value. But non-voting comes with little less price hence has a good P/E value.

Most of the time companies declare the same amount of Dividend per share for both Voting and Non-Voting shares. Therefore owning Non-voting shares, investors can enjoy higher dividend yield than for voting share of the same company.

I agree with you.
Most of the CSE quoted company dividend policy on Voting and Non Voting are same.
Sometimes back TOKYO Cements Voting and non voting are not same. After the Share adjustment the dividends are same.

So, all the firms in CSE offer same dividend for .X & .N?

can they change that in future? if it happens then it could have a minor impact on .X shares isn't it??
