chartered institute of securities and investments - their office is located in duplication road. close to American National College

or else you can do the certificate in capital markets offered by the SEC. there is very high demand for this. limited enrollment.

Chartered Securities and Investments Institute (CISI) is registered in London they recently started the branch office in Sri Lanka. But I know for a fact they initially started their partnership with First Global Investments Islamic Finance education unit The First Global Knowledge Centre (FGKC) Limited back in 2009.

Later when First Global Investments became a failed company (after accepting public deposits) Chartered Securities and Investments Institute was negotiating to partnership with Zeylan Edu Consultants then when that failed they approached Central Bank and SEC and hosted some seminars and said they are gonna provide accreditation for future courses. then they were in partnership with Singapore Informatics and finally when that didn't work out now they have established their own office in Colpetty...so nowadays be mindful before you do all these foreign education qualifications...because most of them are here to make out a buck and go...

they all know for sure that education is the next biggest opportunity to make money.

A research recently said that Private Degree that cost Rs.2 million will cost 20 times that means Rs.40 million in next ten years.

Unlikely we don't have any reputed education company listed in Colombo Stock Exchange otherwise P/E would have been very high due to future potential earnings forecast and shares would have shoot up like hell.

In case of CISI I am telling you to reconsider before you go and start education there.

Whatever the Education programme that is conducted by SEC is more valid than any of these.

By Sideline:

In america they have listed after service companies or funeral directors' companies that provide service for funerals in NYSE and NASDAQ and AMEX. In USA such companies even own Cemeteries and those lands are valued in their financials. We don't have companies like...May be in time to come we should also ask
Jayaratne Funeral Directors
A.F. Raymond and Barney Raymond to go public

and may be government should lease Borella Cemetry on 99 year lease for Private Funeral Directors on a slot basis.

And allow other cemeteries in the country also to be subleased to such Funeral Directors.
