THis is a suggestion directed to the Administrator of this forum.

It may be useful to introduce one or more 'STICKY' notes which sets out very briefly, some basic rules, guidelines and etiquette that members are encouraged to follow.

This would only enhance the value of the forum. Many popular forums have resorted to this.

Hey Guys,

We need to determine a more transparent and acceptable basis for "Sticky" Posts which will remain on top of the 'Talk" section of the forum for easy reference of the readers. I have removed all existing sticky posts in this section until such time we all agree on an acceptable modality.

Sticky Posts in "Entertainment" and other sections similarly to "World Cup Cricket 2011" etc.. will remain "Sticky" until we determine the basis.

Appreciate your contribution.

Quibit,
I see your point and I think you are setting about this issue in a sensible manner.

Its just that 'stickys' in relation to some guidelines are in the 'forum help' section and as such, may easily be overlooked. For example, I checked out the 'help' section today for first time although I have been surfing this forum for some time.
