If the period is just one month. This will turn out to be a gambling exercise. Just my opinion.

First round player can enter after 31st May 2011 based on their end portfolio values.

salimts,
This is not one month game. It evolves from one month to the next month. Anyone who wants to buy and hold could continue without changing their portfolio mix. Those who wants to change can change at the end of each round.

Dear Quibit,
Please change the rules so that winner is selected according to profits earned during that period or some other method. Otherwise same person will be the "WINNER" in all these rounds.

I think this is a suggestion worth considering because:
It enables relative under-performers in Round 1 to make a fresh start in Round 2.
More new entrants will also join because they are not starting with a handicap.

The big guys here can understand how the market behaves. What are the sentiments of about 1000 persons.
I think that is the main objective behind this.

You and I small guys also can do the same but there is no big benifit for us.

I don't think guys come here to play games and have fun.

Agreed. May be at the end of the year, admin can declare the winner of the year by adding all gains/losses made by each member in each individual round.

That is correct, % gain is the best indicator of the performance.

Let the funds from 1st round passed. But the winner should be declared by the % gain they made during the month not the amount.
