Like your name... Welcome to the forum. There are plenty of counters that would fit your bill. Long term, medium term and shot term.. Also there are very very short term punting opportunities. Main thing you need to bear in mind is the underlining risk in investing in stock markets. Higher the returns, higher the risk. Sri Lanka market had given the highest ever returns in Asia continuously for last 3 years, according to the said theory Sri Lanka could be termed as the most riskiest. But it is not!! Some people call it the post war economic boom! Some call it global economic shift! Whatever you call it, fact is that now there many stock market billionaires in Sri Lanka. Equally there are few who had lost life savings, the blouse or in your terms the shirt!!!
