Smart money, intelligent investors, good hedge funds and some intelligent fund managers are picking stocks slowly and some are getting ready to put their balance money into action.

Some are looking at out of favour sectors as well. On long term basis five years to 10 years time they should give some return. Even in our market some out of favour stocks more attractive on long term basis. However, I prefer cash generating companies in good and bad times.

Globally, it has become kind of stock pickers’ market for those who have idea about what they are doing.

As we don’t know what is happening in markets and inside markets it is better to have some sort of risk management system which include better debt management if we buy stocks on credit. We should always expect unexpected sell-off like in January 2016. When we pick stocks we should buy correct type of stocks according to our strategy and great discounts to the market. As I made some mistakes, my picking strategy will be different from others in the future.
