I think we have too much of Brokers

Govt should allow market forces to work

Marginal firms will close automatically

Brokers deserve punishment

Banks, finance companies, stock brokers & insurance ....etc are in same basket. Merging the excess would be more beneficial to both institution & the client.

How many stock broking companies came into operation within the last two years?  Insignificant in my opinion. So, the question arises how did the stock broking fraternity perform well prior to that?

A vibrant stock market reflects the economy of any nation. Sad plight for Sri Lanka but this is the true situ.  All screwed up!
