This govt now accept their Economic Management is very poor

That is why they do not changed present management of stock marked

During last govt stock market come
down due to mismanagement of Mrs Sugathadasa and Thilak Karunaratne Govt has taken action to remove them and appointed Dr Godahewa Young qualified person to replace old inefficient negative minded man

MR govt was highly concern about stock market specially importance as a Economic indicator. Sometime they try to manipulate stock market indicator

We criticize too much interference of MR govt ar that time

But present govt do not care at all about stock market as a Economic Indicator

This is another extreme

Everyone knows Thilak is not suitable for the job. He would have been a good employee for FCID. FCID are professionals who are good at investigating but delivering so little success.

In terms of market development, communicating and policy implementation he's utterly useless.

We are sick of you harping about Godahewa
He is a crook
As someone said earlier government manipulated the market, due to that those close made money and others lost
Not sure what the SEC can do to make the stock market go up
other than allow manipulation

Let the market find its direction and invest on fundamentals
Those will eventually win, without stealing from poor retailers

Immediately prior to the Presidential election the news spread was that if the Unity Govt backed by UNP comes to power the stock market would go thro' the roof and the probability was that a change was to take place. So, don't you think that this too was a manipulation where this Govt catchers dumped shares on innocent investors just prior to the Presidential election. I am sure they had inside information.

Now all what DG is saying is to replace an Octogenarian with a sick mind. Leave Godahewa aside, how about the Yahapalana favorite like arjun Mahendran. Since they have vested interest in the share market after the bond scam if he is appointed we may have an opportunity of seeing a bull run. I am sure you will favor this. Isn't it?

THIS YAHAPALANA STINKS!!! They can't even clear garbage from city streets.

rising interest rates is a major worry for the market. According to Daily FT survey today 8 analyst expect the rate to be the same and 7 expect rate a hike.
