VFIN target price -- Rs 80.00 within 2 months

Post by Harry82 on Sun Feb 19, 2017 11:20 am

Vallibel Finance, the name-bearer of the iconic Vallibel Group, capped yet another outstanding Q3, reporting impressive returns for last 9 months of 2016.
Total income crossed the Rs.3 billion mile-stone, reaching Rs. 3.6 Billion, netting in an exponential growth of 43% as against the previous figure of Rs. 2.4 Billion. It was a robust 9 months for the company as all key indicators returned trumps.
Net interest income moved up 18.9% percent to reach Rs. 1.44 Billion bolstering the pre-tax profits which propelled to Rs. 934 Million, a growth of 47%.
The company stamped its stature on the loan book as well, disbursing Rs. 13.1 Billion during the same period of 2016, offering renewed impetus for growth for people across the country, as a far-fledged mandate of financial support took deeper roots reaching more people in more places.
This was evident in the loan book as total disbursements reached Rs. 23.7 Billion.
“Ours is a home-grown model of financial stewardship that makes us an integral part of the lives and dreams of our customers. At the same time, it’s all built on professionalism and accountability”– Dhammika Perera , Executive Director, Vallibel Finance
The increasing popularity of Vallibel Finance and the respect it commands in the market are evident in its performance which is clearly indicative of the increasing stature of the company.

@Harry
With such good performance why VFIN should take 2 months time to reach at Rs.80/= level?

nope it'll take longer tym. It has being showing tremendous growth but unfortunately negative outlook towards finance company sector has made finance sector shares unattractive. If it was going to reach 80mark, it would have reached it by now.

Only chance of it reaching 80 is if it gets sub divided and declares around 3bucks in dividend after sub division. Then it might reach 80. Usually dividend announcement is in june. 4months away.

I believe that current market environment has caused the low demanding thereby low pricing. At present no value is given for undervalued plus strong counters.

VFIN is best managed company in leasing companies. It's performance speaks. You need patience. It is not running in loss or critical situation. It will give you good dividends.

they might give more of a scrip dividend this tym. All the finance companies will want to keep there money to comply with capital requirements which are imposed.

Look at the banks dividend payout this tym, more scrip dividend and less cash payout

If the company continue their growth rate for few more years (2-5 years) EPS will reach to 20-50 level . So this is an interesting share to keep in your portfolio.

Re: VFIN target price -- Rs 80.00 within 2 months

Post by SLFINANCEWATCH on Thu Apr 13, 2017 11:16 am

Normally VFIN deliver much better results in last quarter, So EPS will be 17.00+ and NAV will be 60.00+.
There will be a correction in mkt prices of VFIN, LFIN.( Both are too much undervalued )
Current PER is below 4.00 and PBV is 1.05

If mkt price reach  85.00, PER = 5.00, PBV = 1.33
If mkt price reach 102.00, PER = 6.00, PBV = 1.65

Last year EPS = 12.00 , This year EPS = 17.00 , 2018 March EPS = ?? minimum 22.00 , Then if they give Rs.2.50 dividend NAV as at march 2018 = 80.00,

Then within 12 months PER and PBV analysis will be like this.
Mkt price = 110.00, PER = 5.00, PBV = 1.40
Mkt price = 132.00, PER = 6.00, PBV = 1.65

Meanwhile if interest rates drop PER of 9.00 and PBV 2.00 is possible ( like in 2014 ).

Mkt price = 160.00, PER 7.40, PBV = 2.00

Any comments..

VFIN has been isolated & stagnant for a long period in undervalued status for unknown reasons though performed well. Surprisingly, in the past holders sold great volumes at lower prices. That could be certain market tactics in re-buying. Fresh movement would be further driven by March ending results.
