Type of leaders Srilanka had in the recent past

HC Judge appointment, threatens independence of the Judiciary: MR

http://www.dailymirror.lk/article/HC-Judge-appointment-threatens-independence-of-the-Judiciary-MR-124079.html

As someone mentioned MR seems to have forgotten what he did to CJ Shirani Bandaranayake.
Forgotten how he appointed CJ Mohan peries.

This is the type of leaders we had. Some of our so called brilliant members( Infact I am sure they don't own any share in the CSE today) still working for MR/WW. May be they are paid to do this job.

Country is on the correct path. Look at the Fitch ratings
Before 2015 we didnt know where we were heading. This govt has found some sort of a solution. Loans were taken during MR's term and have to pay back in next few years. After he took loans he had thamashas during his term. Thats how he was able to cheat most srilankans.
Once MR had to shut his secretary's mouth when he questioned him about how he is going to pay back loans. What we heard was MR had said neither he nor the secretary will pay back and had asked him to keep his mouth shut.

Some people can't understand the difference between appointing  or removing  qualified people as CJ s using Presidential power or even by force
and
appointing an outsider as a high court judge   who has failed to get qualified even as a Magistrate.

These kind of people came here to educate us about a stock market boom under wihilu paalanaya and now those who listen to them are enjoying the benefits.

When speaking about the types of Sri Lankan political leaders this is what came to my mind.

In 1996 under PA rule CBK presented a draft constitution to parliament in an effort to find a solution to ethnic crisis. What happened? UNP vehemently opposed same and set fire to copies of the draft in the house. Today the very same UNP is coming up with a new constitution with extensive power devolution far greater than what was envisaged in 1996 and seeks the support of coalition partners and others.
