US Foreign Policy provided a glimpse of US President Donald Trump's ambitious plans to slash State Department and USAID funding by over $10 billion. Sri Lanka facing, 100% reduction in USAID. US Foreign Policy magazine  reported  citing a state Department document that the US plans to cut its economic assistance to Sri Lanka by 100% in year 2018.
