I know this govt has lot of problems main bluder is Bond issue Comparing with frauds done by Basil it is a minor issue. Event that matter is under investigation although
uUNP was able face election with huge money earned
by Basil and the crowd

UNP was able to win the election because of Bond Issue We all know how majority of fools vote in this country

I WOULD SAY CABRAL'S REGIME MANUPULTED EVERYTHING . GDP GROWTH WAS MANUPULATED.EXCHANGE  RATE  WAS MANUPULATED WITH THE HELP OF TMPLTEN FUND ,SELLING OUR DOLLARS IN THE OPEN MARKET AND SOME OTHER TACKTICKS THAT WAS USED BY CABRAL REGIME,STOCK MARKET WAS MANUPULTED WITH HELP OF PEOPLE WHO ARE BEHIND THE BARS TODAY  OR PEOPLE TO BE  SOON. PEOPLES' MANDATE WAS MANUPULATED BY HOLDING ELECTIONS  ON SCATTERED BASIS,DEMOCRACY WAS MANPULATED BY SACKING C.JS. DEVELPOMENT WAS SHOWN BY CARPETTING ALL THE ROADS ON LOANS TAKEN FROM CHINA (LION SHARE WAS GONE TO BASILS'S AND FAMILY A/CS.)

ARE THOSE PEOPLE WAITING TO REPEAT SAME ?

What Nivard says is correct

But he has not given any economic reason

It is not possible reach this unfortunate situation former governor explained with in two years even purposely Any average intelligent person will accept it

Most of economic reasons are connected to Basil dominated uneducated foolish economic activities of last govt. Unproductive employment,Unproductive commission oriented projects Excessive loans ai high interest rates corruptions etc,,

foreign reserves do not reflect the strength of the economy. if a country borrows say one billion dollars from a foreign bank, the country`s foreign reserves immediately increases by the same amount.the foreign reserves ,if compared with the total foreign borrowings will give a better insight into the strength of the economy.

Greedy leaders of all political parties are responsible for current economic situation in the country. We still live in a country where corrupted politico in ruling party protects similar scoundrel who is in opposition.
The eternal truth is the deception by creating illusory ideas shield the thieves forever under both MR & RW administration.

You are 100% correct

Only third force at present is JVP

But they also do not have solution to any problem Best example is SAITEM

Most of university student councils are under their control they always create problems

Don't try to equate the corruption between both of them(MR & RW).
Normal people will realise differance between current government and previous regime not only in corruption but thugerry work killing lasantha,Thajudeen,....bombing news channels,
If you look at current join opposition got 90% corrupted politician.Difficult to find anyone from UNP.MS gang also very less compare to JO.

MR and gang are very good in their marketing. They know weak points of our people and capitalise on them. RW is weak in his  Marketing and he always speaks the truth as he is an honest person according to my perception.

A popular leader is a bad ruler and unpopular leader is a good ruler. To realise this truth it takes time and by that time Perahara would have gone.

Our country eternally would be in the Third World and a handful of robbers like  MR and gang would prosper at our country's cost.
When our people would become mature enough to understand this truth?

With a plenty of upheavals economy is expected to be risen even at slow pace. Economy should absorb more global assistance. Country is on correct path & direction targeting more FDIs coupled with increased exports volume. Results could be seen & measured by end of next year.

Ranil should make genuine effort to take action against corrupt people rather than trying to split SLFP by not taking action against corruption of Basil Nivard and the crowd

other vice all corrupt ministers of this govt will join with Basil and other corrupt people
