This is the most failure government in the history & it will be vanished very soon may be with in this year possible . 35 MP s are ready to cross over in immediately effect . If you revised the progress under this government you will come to know that nothing has been done as a major development in the country . Only sound but no dance in this government.. if any election we can see the reaction of voters thats the reason they are postponing elections .
How ever I don't feel who should come next but I don't have any trust of this government can develop the country . If they can do it , they had enough time given to do so but no chances at all now.

You have missed out on one of the key achievements in the post independence era of Sri Lanka, an unprecedented event in the whole world "THE BOND SCAM" which lead to eroding confidence of foreign investors resulting in dwindling FDIs.

EPF was barred from investing in the share market calling it a casino, but the same funds was plundered by a private company connected to bond deal.

Economy being like Somalia the property prices are higher than in Manhattan USA. How do you explain this phenomenon? What do you think the consequences are going to be when the Govt sponsored real estate bubble bursts? Frog in a well has only a tunnel vision!

UNP has 107 MPS, President appointed MPs through the national list. Most of these MPS were against Mahinda and they will not leave the Govt. All the other 35 came from SLFP. Even if all go back nothing will happened to the Govt. More UNP MPS will get promoted.
In addition UNP has the backing of TNA and JVP. They prefer UNP to SLFP.

Presently UNP is unable to get the consent of SLFP mps for some of the projects and we can expect those to be implemented.

Opposition is scared that is the reason they are shouting.

In another few months when one by one goes in and some of the problems are sorted out we can expect a big change.
Look at the Foreign Inflow. More than 22 BLn upto now. 2nd highest inflow.
Chandrika ruled the country for 5 yrs with just 1 mp more than the opposition.
Nothing to worry.
