Best stock brokers for online trading

friends, I hope to invest in stock market in the near future.I want to do online trading,I don't know how to choose a stock broker,can u help me for this.

plss read the form before opening a post. There is enough recombination and pros and cons about brokers and their online system. Opening new posts on repeated topics will push valuable topics down the line. This will result in others grab something out of them.

Anyway JB is the best when it comes to Online trading. Advicing is bit of a problem/

Since you do not know how to choose a stock broker, I presume that you are a new comer to the stock market. If you are a new comer, please watch you step and select your stocks carefully. There are plenty of good advice in this forum on how to trade in stocks.

Recently I opened an account with Lanka Securities and all what they recommended were went up within a short period.
These were CFLB, EAST, BLUE, ATL

aship ,

East , Blue , ATL all are in a speculative movement. Broker will give you a good ride with your hard earned money, unless you have enough of experience in the market to understand the correct Enter/Exit points.

I too have online facility with JB which is very good. I think you need a portfolio of around 500,000 at least because they have to fix a credit limit for you. Without a credit limit you cant do online trading.
I recently joined CT Smith too as my advisor is so busy allways, but the broker at CT takes time and talks.
Anybody any idea/ experience with their on line system?

I do not think that they are still providing online system for cumstomers,but they say that they will provide it near future.

Can someone cmpare JB Online Trading vs AsiaSec's DirectFN TWS? Which one is better?

AsiaSec's DirectFN TWS does not requires minimum deposit and the buying power will be based on value of the holdings (value of the existing stocks + Cash) ....

I think JB has a web app. So it your logging into CSE from work place this might be best (DFN also has a web interface but it sucks) because you can't use DFN office network.
Else DFN is the best it has lot of features like charting and technical analysis tools and can made to give alerts about price levels

Hey can I take information like PER , NASP etc from DirectFN ??? If it's possible how can I take those information cz my software doesn't show those information
